Aloha,
I am the proud mother of Cory, the  wonderful little boy for whom this book was written. He taught me how to live my life with joy, purpose and integrity. His short life and the lessons he shared were a gift to thousands of people worldwide thanks to his loving relationship with Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. He asked me to write this book to help Elisabeth teach people that death is not the end and that we should not be afraid. Cory loved the message in the song "The Rose." Especially the part about "those afraid of dying cannot learn to live..." His courage was astounding. His lessons were and are still profound. But, this book is not about dying...it is about living the life you have been gifted by God. I hope you enjoy the read.

We have two beautiful daughters Brie & Keili and two amazing grandsons.

By profession I am an award-winning television/video producer/writer. I am also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I conduct grief workshops and do grief work with individuals. And, now I am an author!

I have dedicated many years to volunteering. I am the past-president of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Western Washington. I spent five years as the Washington State Team Leader for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation, which focuses on securing research funding for the Children's Oncology Group. When asked, I also help my friends with their volunteer efforts...from drug affected newborns to promoting the arts to young people. My grandfather always said, "help if and when you can."  This is something I have instilled in my children.

Sunday, June 13th I was the guest on  Helen Smalley-Bower's "Fine Tune YoU" on BlogTalkRadio. She is a lovely woman with a tremendous spirit...and, she lives in Hawaii. We clicked immediately and her show was very interesting. I so enjoyed speaking with her.
June 25th  Carol Kline and I had a wonderful conversation this evening on her "Streetwise Spirituality" program on ContactTalkRadio. She was so great and had taken so many notes while reading my book. Her script was awesome and we covered a lot of ground. If you missed it look for her program on ContactTalkRadio. July 26th  Numerologist extraordinaire Alison Baughman and I talked about how our numbers create a path for our life lessons. Her show "Visible by Numbers" is on BBS Radio. I am fascinated by numerology although I admit I don't "get it"  but I was not surprised when Alison described Cory's short but powerful life in terms of numbers. I love that Alison said she fell in love with Cory when she read my book. What a huge compliment. Check out her website or the BBS archives to hear our entire conversation.
On July 28th I had the pleasure of chatting with Rabbi Wayne Dosick on his "SpiritTalkLive!" show, which is archived at HealthyLife.net. We had a great conversation and I learned so much from him. He is another radio show host who loved Cory's story.
Aug 5th I chatted up Cory's life lessons on "Our Wondrous World" with Helena Margareta on SedonaTalkRadio. Helena is in Stockholm Sweden. Helena Margareta has done research on many interesting topics and her program airs in 84 countries....                                     
On Sept 24th I was honored to be a guest on Mike Quinsey's "Connecting the Light" radio program which you can hear on BBS Radio from the UK! He was a great person to chat with and very interesting.  I enjoyed him immensely! I especially loved his sense of humor and he was very sweet when bringing up Cory's adventures and antics.
On Oct  5th  I was on the "UNSTOPPABLE Frankie Picasso" show on BlogTalkRadio. We had a great hour of chatting about various aspects of Cory's story. I really appreciated her questions and insights.
